Foundation's 1st Annual Golf Tournament was a Hit!

Who says "bigger is better"? Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Mark O'Meara, David Duval and other top golf pros were NOT present, nor was George, Jeb or Barbara, Bill or Hillary, Dan Quayle, Michael Jordan nor even Neil Armstrong. We all know that the "the ultimate experience is in the game and everyone who dares to play makes it what it is!"

The 40 brave souls who supported masonry apprenticeship at Forest Hills in the blustery winds on November 16th had a grand time.

It Pays to Train in Tampa Bay!

Eileen Rodriguez of Worknet Pinellas joined the Masonry Contractors Association of Florida, Tampa Bay Chapter for their General meeting on November 15th at the Columbia in Ybor City.

A precedent was set in Tampa with six contractors presented with checks $1000 for each student participating in the first eight weeks of the sixteen week Application of Masonry training--30 total trainees!! This 16 week intro course encourages concept of training and career opportunities available in the Masonry trade. Participants are encouraged to continue in apprenticeship training.
